Sampooran Paash Kaav
"Sampooran Paash" (ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਪਾਸ਼) is the complete collection of poetic works by Avtar Singh Sandhu, widely known by his pen name Paash (1950–1988), one of the most iconic and influential revolutionary poets in modern Punjabi literature. Deeply influenced by Marxist ideology and the Naxalite movement, Paash brought a raw, aggressive, and realistic tone to Punjabi verse, transforming traditional poetry into a potent critique of state repression, feudal oppression, political corruption, and social injustice. His powerful verses—most famously in poems like "Sab To Khatarnak" (The Most Dangerous Thing)—serve as enduring anthems against political apathy, urging readers to preserve their dreams, critical voice, and resistance. Though his life was cut short when he was assassinated by extremists at the age of 37, Sampooran Paash compiles his celebrated anthologies—including Lok Katha, Uddde Bazan Magar, and Saadgi Ton Be-Aasqa—preserving the full magnitude of his literary legacy for generations to come.
